Scott McKnight 

Chairman of the Board & CFO

Scott McKnight, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Worth National Title Insurance Company, has been a Fort Worth resident since 1994 and is a Fort Worth Attorney.  Scott’s practice of law focuses in the areas of Texas real estate, including comprehensive representation of buyers, sellers, and investors of both residential and commercial transactions. Scott McKnight, being driven by his extensive experience, partnerships and vision, aspired to establish his own title insurance underwriter. 

   

Scott received a bachelor's degree of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 1989 and obtained his law degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 1993. Scott believes law is about helping people who cannot help themselves, either because of lack of experience or resources.   

  

Scott is licensed to practice law in Texas and Oklahoma by the Texas State Bar and the Oklahoma State Bar.  He is licensed in all courts in the state of Texas; the US District Court, Northern District of Texas; and the US District Court, Eastern District of Oklahoma; and the Texas US Supreme Court.    

 Scott is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association; The State Bar of Texas, District 7A Grievance Committee; the Oklahoma Bar Association; the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association and served on the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association Board of Directors from 1996-1998. Scott also received the Texas Super Lawyers award in 2006 and has the Martindale-Hubbell “AV” Rating.  

George Stablein

President & CEO

As the President and CEO of Worth National Title Insurance, George Stablein showcases a remarkable career that spans over two decades within the title industry. His journey began in 1998, assuming the role of underwriting counsel for a national underwriter. Since then, George has cultivated his expertise, forming lasting partnerships and friendships across the United States. Throughout his career, George has played an instrumental role in supporting the growth of agencies and contributing to the success of the companies he has been associated with. 

 

Leading Worth National Title in all aspects of its growth, George remains committed to fostering relationships within Worth's family of agents. His visionary leadership not only drives the company forward but also ensures the continuous expansion and enhancement of relationships with agents. 

 

George is a graduate of Arizona State University, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. His legal acumen is highlighted by a juris doctorate from Western State University College of Law, and he has been a practicing attorney since 1994. George actively contributes to various Real Estate Associations.  His passion for knowledge-sharing is evident through his frequent engagement in training seminars for title agents and real estate professionals nationwide. 

 

With a wealth of legal and industry experience, George Stablein stands as an influential figure in the title insurance industry, consistently contributing to the growth and success of the organizations he leads. 

Norma Scott

EVP, Agency Director

Norma Scott embarked on her career journey in 1997 with an entry-level accounting position at her hometown title company. With a drive to broaden her expertise, she quickly ascended from an escrow assistant to a highly accomplished escrow officer.  Norma's profound knowledge and experience led to her transition to a direct operation in Fort Bend County as an area branch manager in 2003. In this capacity, Norma spearheaded the leadership and expansion of multiple offices. 

 

Throughout her career, Norma's commitment to excellence and interpersonal skills created numerous friendships that evolved into impactful partnerships. She obtained her real estate license in 1997, offering her invaluable insights from multiple vantage points. Navigating diverse roles, both as an Independent Agent and within a Direct Operation, Norma consistently maintained and grew business. 

 

In 2021, Norma embraced the role of agency manager for a national title insurance underwriter, assuming responsibility for overseeing services for title agents across the Southwest Region. Her continued dedication to the industry is underscored by her ability to blend expertise with a personal touch, resonating with professionals across the field. 

 

As Senior Vice President/Agency Director for Worth National Title Insurance, Norma Scott will lead our agents with a focus on providing services that exceed their expectations. 

Debra White

SVP, Operations Manager and Agency Administrator

Debra White brings 28 years of invaluable experience to the title business, showcasing a comprehensive understanding gained through hands-on roles ranging from operations, accounting, and Escrow Assistant to Commercial & Residential Escrow Officer. Having attended TLTA school, she remains committed to professional growth. 

Debra's impact is notably marked by her transition to becoming an Operations Manager, where she played a pivotal role in steering a title company from paper to virtual files. Her focus on efficiency, coupled with a passion for innovation, led to the creation of streamlined systems and procedures. In addition to her operational ingenuity, Debra's skills extend to training, where she shares her expertise and fosters a culture of adaptability within the industry. 

A true industry leader, Debra White's journey reflects a commitment to practical solutions and continuous improvement, making her an invaluable asset to any team navigating the evolving landscape of the title business. 

Lisa Blackman

Compliance and Quality/Assurance Manager

Lisa Blackman is a shining example of dedication and excellence in the title industry. A proud native Texan, Lisa's journey began in Longview, where she discovered her passion for the intricacies of real estate transactions.

 

For the past 21 years, Lisa has been an integral part of the title business, starting as a receptionist and swiftly advancing to become an invaluable assistant. She is known for her tireless work ethic and meticulous attention to detail. Her willingness to go above and beyond has earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

Lisa played a pivotal role in the founding of McKnight Title, contributing her expertise, dedication, and vision to shape the company's success from its inception.

Throughout her tenure, Lisa has played a crucial role in ensuring McKnight Title remains compliant with industry regulations, including TDI, RESPA, ALTA, and TLTA.

With a wealth of experience, unwavering dedication, and a heart full of love for her family and colleagues, Lisa Blackman continues to inspire those around her and leave a lasting impact on the title industry.
